***  I regretfully announce that I sold Ginger on 6/1/07, to Conley Lindsey in Bountiful, Utah. This was a very difficult thing to do because not only was Ginger my first black and white German Shorthair, she was an excellent dog, with a superb personality and we were very attached to each other. If I had not obtained Ginger I would not be raising black and white shorthairs today. Due to this I have decided to leave her web page up indefinatly as a tribute to her.

Born Ranch Ginger was whelped on 3/18/03. Ginger has a heavy German pedigree. There is at least 27 German Titled dogs in her 5 generation pedigree.  It includes 2 International Champions in Orson Vom Pottsiepen and Kristan Vom Pottsiepen. Ginger is a beautiful black and white German Shorthair. She is the most versatile dog I have owned and has made an outstanding hunting dog that does it all.

She began her first season of hunting wild quail and pheasant in 2003 and has not looked back since. She is a pheasant hunting machine.

Ginger trained easily and she honors exceptionally well. She retrieves naturally and loves water. She hunts at close to medium range and has the best disposition of any dog I have ever owned. Ginger has made the perfect companion and all around hunting dog. Ginger is considered part of our family.
