Rusty is truly a once in a lifetime type dog. An outstanding brag dog!!!!! Rusty's motor and ground coverage is higher than any shorthair I have ever seen. He continually covers more ground than any dog (including all the pointers) at NSTRA trials or while hunting. Yet, he is so layed back in the kennel or on the chain gang. Truly special and irreplaceable.

**** 10/15/06, Rusty competed in just his third NSTRA trial. He finished 1st in an open/all age trial and was the youngest dog entered, at only 16 months old. Rusty had three more 1st place finishes in the 2007 Spring season.

Rusty wins Oklahoma Region 2006/2007 Derby Dog Title and finishes 3rd, in the overall (open)High Point standings.

9/9/07 - Rusty earns his 1st NSTRA Championship  (Rusty becomes the first and only Black and White German Shorthair Stud dog to earn any type of Field Trial Championship. Rusty earned his championship in one year of limited trialing.

Rusty takes 1st Runner-Up (Reserve Champion) at 2008 Regional Elimination Trial.

11/1/08 - Rusty becomes a 2X NSTRA Champion.

3/7/10 - Rusty obtains his 3rd NSTRA Championship.

Rusty was whelped on 5/22/05. We added Rusty to our kennel to use as a hunting, trial and stud dog.

Rusty is hunted on wild quail and pheasant throughout Oklahoma and Kansas. He began running in a few NSTRA Trials, in the fall of 2006, as well.

Rusty has an outstanding nose and is very stylish on point. He also honors with intensity and retrieves well. He hunts extremely hard, at a medium to long range. We are extremely pleased with his response to training and hunting.  Rusty has a wonderful disposition around other people and children. I look forward to hunting and trialing behind him for many years to come.

Rusty has an outstanding 5 generation pedigree that includes 25 Champions (including German Champions) and 5 different dogs that are in the HALL OF FAME.  The Hall of Fame dogs consist of Dixieland Rusty, Uodibar's Koonas, Quailrun's Roxy Roller, Rawhide's Clown and Jigs White Smoke. Rusty is bred as well as any black and white German Shorthair stud dog around.

Stud Fee: $500   A negative Brucellosis test is required.

Chilled Semen: The approximate additional cost is $150 paid directly to Once Frozen.

Frozen Semen: The approximate additional cost is $250-$300, plus shipping container deposit paid directly to Once frozen.
